Happy Chinese New Year!
Woon Jiun is clearly not in the mood to sleep nor study, but to party!
Alright, didn't really party. However, this year's reunion dinner at home took a twist. Parents bought back packed 'nian chai' - Fuo Tiao Qiang, Fried Yam Cake, Herbal Chicken, Sweet & Sour Dory, Pig trotters with Man Tou, Mushroom Greens, Yam Paste (We didn't eat; were all too bloated already). Previously we always, and only had home-style steamboat. So it was quite a pleasant surprise too see such a spread on the dning table. Thanks dad & mum!
Thereafter, we celebrated together my grandmother's and my birthday. It's neither my birthday today nor my grandma's, but since this is like the only day everyone can be together so 'chen ji' lo. Haha. Parents bought 2 cakes - Oreo Cheese Cake & Cheese Brownie Cake. Oishi!! Yummy! I didn't eat much though... later fat how?? I already have a tummy lah. Sobs sobs. Need to exercise...must!
To my family, thanks for the gifts. The funniest thing that happened tonight was probably the fact that my didi gave me a women's small hand bag as the gift. Am i that gay? =p
After the celebration, i wanted to go out with my brothers to LAN. Sadly, when we walked to the shop, we realised that it was after all eve of Lunar New Year; so obviously business was not in operation. In the end, i returned home to dig out my 'Jiang Shi Dao Zhang' vcds to watch.
I am actually supposed to be studying. Counting, i really do not have time to be enjoying, but i cannot quite get my engines started still. Somebody help me. I am really worried, but everytime i sit down to study, my mind knows no focus and thoughts naturally float elsewhere. -sigh-
Anyway, really quite a happy day today. Wishing everyone a prosperous new year ahead and good health always. Stay happy!
